Evite's New Features Allow Party Hosts to Send Invitations to Private Guest Lists or Post Their Events in Public Events Directory
Los Angeles - January 27, 2004 - Evite has been selected, for the third consecutive year, to be the official online party invitation service for Oscar.com. Evite has created an exclusive online Academy Awards® party invitation complete with official Oscar® show key artwork, for fans to plan viewing parties of their own. With the recent launch of new features, Evite users can now select to host a party publicly or privately. Public Event hosts, which may be venue owners, looking to draw a crowd or simply movie fans wanting to watch with others can post their Evite in the Public Events Directory for all locals with similar interests to view.

In celebration of Hollywood's biggest event, over 6,000 Oscar night events were planned through Evite in 2002 and 120,000 people were invited to attend viewing parties.
